Chinese New Year 2009
"Hang Zheng pai ahhh...... (economy no good in hokkien)" that's what they kept saying this year. But does that really affect our traditional chinese culture of buying everything new during chinese new year? Is it still believed that to prosper, we must discard the old and bring in the new??? This year, despite the worldwide economy crisis, chinese ppl are still spending hundreds and thousands on FOOD and!!!! Fireworks!!!
